FACING THE FEAR

"We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot." -- Eleanor Roosevelt

What a great quote to keep the momentum of training going.  Just when I think there may be little hope that I'll once again be able to do, let alone finish, a half marathon, I put self-doubt aside and keep going.  Facing the fear of being too old, too heavy, bad knees, etc. are in the past, my future is looking better with each step I take.  MOVING FORWARD!

Thanks Mrs. Roosevelt for reminding my to face my fears head on!
